I am not sure if you got to replacing it yet, but the best way to do it is to drain the oil out of the old condenser and measure the quantity. however, all the oil is would not stay in the condenser. I put in two cans last year and noticed this spring that the a/c was hot and the compressor was not cycling on (front defogger stopped being effective also). I just put in another can of freon - ice cold ac has returned.I have a 2003 TL Type S with navi. Yesterday, when I turned on the AC by hitting AUTO, everything seemed fine except the fan did not come on. I manually tried to turn on the fan using the controls in the navi. Nothing.
