Both test at 1017 ohms. (proper number is 1000 ohms +/- 10%) - The coil measures at 2.2 ohms on each part of the primary side (1-2 and 2-3). Book says 0.4 ohms. I know it's harder to get to on the 570, but with my machine it's less than 5 minutes to get it up and running if it's the plug.

Did something happen to possibly cause this issue, referring to you riding conditions and use of the Ranger. Give us a little more information.
