Some backstory: I started our pf2e campaign in a new homebrew setting about a year ago. It's my first pf2e campaign after having quite a long campaign in 13th age. One of my player's characters wrote in their backstory they were raised as an heir to the throne of a kingdom which was ransacked by vampires (my Stolen Lands equivalent).

Ultimately, one of the best things about Kingmaker in my opinion is that it has loads of room to add in material of your own, or even other adventures, to really help make the campaign feel personal to the party.
