Litter robot buttons not working.

My litter robot cycling button is rapidly blinking, my usual clean isn't working so I decided to electrical tape the pinch detectors together. For some reason it's still not working. I cleaned the metal and it's not too corroded so I'm not exactly sure what the problem is.
